Job summary

DUN XIN (ECHO) in Singapore seeks an active Assistant Stage Manager to support deck and backstage operations during live shows. Under the Stage Manager, you will help execute rapid stage turnarounds, coordinate gear, welcome artists, and ensure safety and organization backstage throughout the night.

You should have 5+ years of backstage or stage crew experience in live venues, familiarity with basic live audio gear, and a strong teamwork ethic; physical fitness to lift gear and work late hours

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on backstage or stage crew in a live venue, club, or festival.
• Familiar with mics, stands, cabling and backline gear.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work late-night shifts.
• Strong teamwork and clear communication with artists and crew.

Responsibilities

• Set up stage power, cabling, sub-snakes, and backline gear before band arrival.
• Welcome artists, place green room items, and arrange hospitality rider needs.
• Position microphones, monitors, and backline amps per band plots.
• Assist during soundchecks to maintain schedule and address needs.
• Drive rapid stage turnover between opening and headlining acts and patch gear.
• Keep backstage areas clear and safe from hazards.
• Coordinate artist line-up and call times in the green room.
• Assist FOH and monitor engineers with on-stage troubleshooting.
• Load-out and gear pack-down with safety.
• Post-show stage strike and reset stage floor for next event.
• Inventory venue cables, mics, and stage hardware.
