Job description
Position Overview

As an Assistant Senior KidStart Practitioner at KKCS, you will play a crucial role in providing support to parents with young children 0 to 6 years old through home visitation sessions. You will also support the Team Leads in providing supervision and guidance to the team members with social work knowledge and through a systemic perspective. You will be responsible for assessing parenting capacity and child development milestones, developing intervention plans, and implementing strategies to support parents in parenting and to enhance child’s outcomes.

The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, community resources, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic support for clients.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Family support
    1. Conduct screening and ongoing developmental assessment of children 0-6 years to develop and implement holistic child-centric case plans.
    2. Engage and provide support to caregivers and parents through regular home visits to enhance their capacity and capability in the areas of parent-child interaction, development centered parenting and family well-being.
  2. Working with systems
    1. Collaborate with preschools and other community partners to provide the necessary support to the families.
    2. Convene case conferences, where necessary, and coordinate support for children and their families at a systemic and case level.
  3. Other Duties
    1. The above duties and responsibilities shall be extended to include all the Centre's existing and future affiliated operations.
    2. Undertake any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Programme Head.
