Assistant Security Operations Supervisor (ASOS)

Working Hours: Rotating Shift – 1 Day / 1 Night, followed by 2 Off Days (Approx. 17 working days per month)
Salary: $4,500
PLRD Grade: SSS

Role Overview

The Assistant Security Operations Supervisor (ASOS) supports the Security Operations Supervisor in the daily supervision and coordination of the Data Centre Security Team (DCST). The ASOS assists in training, developing, and monitoring the performance of security personnel to ensure operational excellence and compliance with site requirements.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development of an excellent security culture, leading by example, setting standards (dress, deportment etc.), whilst displaying passion and enthusiasm for the role.
  • Gather and report operational information from daily shifts.
  • Conduct and document staff briefings and provide accurate scheduling details.
  • Track and provide a shift update to supervisor including; significant operational events and requirements, team meetings, communications, logistics, DCST officer interviews conducted and training completed. Utilise a shared documentation management system.
  • Communication of activities on-site to team members.
  • Ensure all security posts are manned in line.
  • Be prepared to provide support and relief to posts where required.
  • Brief supervisor on incidents – potential or realized.
  • Conduct post visits and staff engagement in line with site outlined requirements.
  • Assess the proficiency and effectiveness of security staff to ensure they are meeting vendor expectations.
  • Primary point of contact (POC) between site security management and security officers.
  • Uniformed security personnel.
