Job summary

A leading manpower service provider in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Laboratory Technician for a 10-month contract. The role involves maintaining lab cleanliness, assisting in laboratory tasks across science subjects, and supporting practical exam setups. Candidates should have a GCE O-Level qualification and at least two years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills and fluency in English are required.

• Pleasant personality and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Open/close lab doors and windows daily; ensure gas taps and fans are off after use.
• Maintain lab cleanliness, including cleaning bins, sinks, and equipment.
• Assist lab technicians with lesson setup, apparatus cleaning, and inventory checks.
• Support preparation and cleanup for GCE O-Level Science exams.

Job Scope

• Open/close lab doors and windows daily; ensure gas taps and fans are switched off after use.
• Maintain lab cleanliness clear bins, clean sinks, benches, shelves, cupboards, and return equipment to proper places.
• Assist lab technicians in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Lower Secondary Science with lesson and exam setup, apparatus cleaning, refilling reagents, preparing specimens/chemicals, and inventory checks.
• Support preparation and cleanup for GCE O-Level Science practical exams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD.

Requirements

• GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Laboratory Technician preferred.
• Pleasant personality with good communication skills and fluent in English.
