Responsibilities
- Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support for engineering systems and components within the marine sector.
- Prepare commercial proposals, cost estimates, and technical presentations aligned with client needs.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to develop efficient and cost-effective solutions.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and consistent follow-ups to identify potential business opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for both technical and commercial discussions.
- Business Growth & Revenue Generation
- Identify, pursue, and secure business opportunities to achieve sales objectives.
- Participate in tender submissions, contract discussions, and deal closures.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and client records using CRM platforms.
- Market Research & Service Optimization
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to enhance product offerings and service capabilities.
- Project Coordination
- Liaise with operations and service teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
- Ensure customer expectations are met and managed throughout the delivery timeline.
- Take part in post-project evaluations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or related Engineering disciplines.
- Approximately 3-5 years of experience in technical sales or support within the marine or industrial sector.
- Solid understanding of engineering systems, preferably related to marine machinery or rotating equipment.
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and managing client accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel regionally or internationally as required.
