Assistant Sales Manager (Lift Industry)

Location: Singapore (Kallang)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Alternate Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We are assisting an established client in the lift and vertical transportation industry to identify an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to support their business growth across new installation, modernisation, and repair segments.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving commercial performance, overseeing the full sales cycle from business development and tender management to project coordination and client engagement. Candidates with strong experience in residential and commercial lift projects will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the complete sales process for lift installation, modernisation, and repair projects.
  • Develop and implement sales and pricing strategies to achieve business growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Prepare and manage tender submissions for both public and private sector projects.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic positioning and business planning.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for the sales division.
  • Coordinate closely with operations and technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and reporting in CRM systems.
  • Drive customer relationship management initiatives, ensuring feedback is addressed and service standards are maintained.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the lift or vertical transportation industry, particularly in sales, repair, or modernisation functions.
  • Proven exposure to residential and commercial lift projects is required.
  • Experience working with major OEMs (e.g., Schindler, KONE, OTIS, Mitsubishi) will be advantageous.
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to plan, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP or CRM platforms is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel for regional assignments as required.
