Job Purpose

We are seeking a motivated and service-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our team at a serviced apartment in Singapore. This role is ideal for a proactive individual looking to build a career in Hospitality Sales while managing a focused portfolio of clients.

The Assistant Sales Manager will assist in growing the property’s revenue through targeted sales activities, relationship management, and effective coordination with internal teams.

Primary Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Maintain complete knowledge of: All Serviced Apartment features / services, hours of operation; Safety guidelines and evacuation plan
  • Answer incoming phone calls in a pleasant manner using our telephone etiquette guidelines. Handle telephone enquiries according to departmental procedure
  • Manage and develop a small portfolio of corporate accounts, focusing on client retention and growth.
  • Support the Sales Director in executing the property’s sales and marketing strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market research, networking, and proactive outreach.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
  • Coordinate with the reservations and front office teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Prepare reports, maintain proper records and filing system in accordance to our sales administration process
  • Maintain gifts inventory and coordinate the sending of gifts to clients
  • Arrange site inspections for potential clients
  • Promote positive relations with clients and attend to all requests expediently and courteously
  • Acknowledge and handle clients’ complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently. Report incidents or other irregularities to management
  • Up-sell and promote hotel’s facilities and services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback.
  • Contribute to monthly sales reports and performance reviews.

Other Responsibilities

  • Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
  • Attend all briefings, meetings and trainings as assigned by management
  • Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management
