We're Hiring an Assistant Restaurant Manager

What You’ll Be Responsible for:

1. Supervising & Leading

  • Directing and motivating staff members
  • Onboarding new employees, providing ongoing training, and mentoring staff to improve performance.
  • Creating staff schedules, assigning tasks, and delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
  • Providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.

2. Operational Oversight:

  • Ensuring smooth opening and closing of the restaurant, including setting up, securing the premises, and balancing cash registers.
  • Monitoring stock levels, placing orders for food and supplies, and managing inventory to minimize waste and ensure availability.
  • Ensuring food is prepared and served according to established standards, and that health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Handling customer complaints, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Reconciling daily sales, and managing expenses.

3. Communication and Coordination:

  • Relaying information from management to staff and vice versa, and ensuring clear communication between different teams (e.g., front-of-house and back-of-house).
  • Interacting with suppliers, placing orders, and managing relationships with vendors.
  • Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

4. Other Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the restaurant is clean and well-maintained.
  • Following established guidelines and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Assisting with various tasks and responsibilities as needed by the restaurant manager.
  • Immediate availability is a plus
