Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in banking or securities, preferably in Private Banking.
  • Ability to pass CACS 1 & 2 within 3 months of joining.
  • Additional certifications for Nikko RNF Representative such as RES12B and CM-SIP may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers in achieving sales KPIs and client acquisition.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners for banking transactions.
  • Manage client onboarding and ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
  • Conduct periodic account reviews and assist in credit monitoring for loans.
  • Monitor and manage client portfolios and daily sales figures.
  • Handle administrative tasks including travel arrangements and expense management.
  • Act as liaison with Japanese clients providing translation services.
  • Perform securities operations as Assistant RM for Nikko Securities.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in achieving sales KPIs, client acquisition, and strengthening relationships.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Deposit, Remittance, Treasury, etc.) and external partners for banking and investment transactions.
  • Manage client onboarding (documentation, screenings, KYC) and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Conduct periodic account reviews and assist in credit monitoring for loan-related transactions to ensure timely follow-up and risk management.
  • Monitor and manage client portfolios (deposits, investment securities) and daily sales figures.
  • Handle administrative tasks including travel arrangements, entertainment/gift coordination, and expense management.
  • Act as liaison with Japanese clients and counterparts in Japan, providing accurate and timely translation between Japanese and English for documents, presentations, and client communications.
  • Perform securities operations as Assistant RM for Nikko Securities, including account opening and execution of securities and forex transactions.
  • Provide support on any other duties assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Language: Full professional proficiency in Japanese (required) and English as this individual will be dealing with Japanese clients
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in banking or securities, preferably Private Banking.
  • Strong knowledge of banking and investment products; high operational accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and client servicing skills; proactive and team-oriented.
  • Ability to pass CACS 1 & 2 within 3 months of joining.

    • RES12B
    • CM-SIP
