Job summary

A leading food and beverage company in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Quality Assurance Manager to oversee food quality and safety standards within the Central Kitchen. The role includes conducting routine inspections, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supervising QA operations. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Food Science or a related field, strong knowledge of HACCP, and experience with quality assurance processes. This permanent position offers a salary of up to $6,500 plus performance bonus and staff benefits.

  • Position : Assistant Quality Assurance Manager

  • Location: Tai Seng (2 minutes walk from Tai Seng MRT)

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

  • Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,500 + Performance Bonus + Staff Benefits

  • Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the management of food quality and safety standards within the Central Kitchen
  • Ensure products comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing QA and food safety procedures
  • Conduct routine quality inspections, audits, and compliance checks
  • Maintain and continuously improve quality control and assurance systems
  • Investigate customer feedback and quality incidents, implementing corrective actions
  • Verify adherence to QA protocols, SOPs, and HACCP requirements
  • Monitor and report on product quality and food safety performance
  • Supervise daily QA operations and support the QA team
  • Participate in product and process development, including R&D trials
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety standards, and local regulatory requirements (e.g. AVA / NEA or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with QA documentation, SOPs, and corrective/preventive action processes
