About the job

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, perform hands-on maintenance, and coordinate maintenance work related to QMI in PU5.
• Ensure weekly schedule activities, emergencies, and non-routine maintenance tasks are executed with quality, efficiency, and in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
• Perform day-to-day hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting for QMI-related matters in PU5.
• Ensure engineering practices and assets comply with statutory obligations.
• Review and communicate daily/weekly schedule assignments with the workforce.
• Ensure adherence to HSSE requirements.
• Liaise with Operations, Technology, Engineering, and Procurement teams for work execution.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Control, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or NITEC in similar fields, with 5–7 years of engineering/maintenance experience in oil or petrochemical plants.
• Strong skills in Gas Chromatograph (GC) maintenance.
• Knowledge of chemical processes is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of DCS/IPS/PRM/GSAP and Foundation fieldbus would be an added advantage.
