Job summary

A leading metal precision manufacturer in Singapore is looking for an Assistant QC Engineer to maintain QA documentation and enhance quality performance. The role involves data analysis, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with QMS documentation. Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in relevant fields and have at least 2 years of QA/QC experience. Familiarity with ISO and API standards will be advantageous. This position offers a basic salary of up to S$3000 along with additional benefits.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain QA documentation and records, and implement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance.

Collect, analyse, and prepare reports on quality and service performance data/charts based on established parameters.

Review NCRs and monitor the follow-up of corrective and preventive action plans with relevant departments.

Participate in both internal and external audits related to systems and processes.

Support the maintenance and continual improvement of the companys Quality Management System (QMS) through effective audits and review mechanisms in line with customer quality requirements.

Ensure full compliance with all QMS documentation, including the Quality Manual, Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions, according to API Q1 standards.

Handle customer complaints and work closely with internal teams and external customers to resolve quality-related issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Offshore Engineering, Quality Assurance, or equivalent.

Minimum 2 years of QA/QC experience.

Familiarity with ISO, API standards is an advantage.
