Job summary

A leading laboratory services provider located in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to perform hands-on analyses and validate methods in the QC laboratory. The ideal candidate has a degree in Chemistry, over 2 years of lab experience, and familiarity with lab equipment and software. This role involves collaboration with team members and adherence to ISO safety standards.

Qualifications

  • More than 2 years of working experience in laboratory related functions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of laboratory operation and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently.

Jobscope
  • Responsible for planning and conducting hands‑on analyses to support the set‑up of instruments in the QC laboratory.
  • Conduct analytical method validation, review data and troubleshoot reliability issues of instruments.
  • Review and upkeep Quality, Safety and training documents of instruments in compliance with ISO and IATF standards.
  • Comply with laboratory safety guidelines and maintain good laboratory housekeeping.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by Asst QC Manager/QC Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
  • More than 2 years of working experience in laboratory related functions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of laboratory operation, equipment (GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, Titrators), software (Openlab) and systems (LIMS).
  • Good analytical knowledge and ability to work independently.
  • Possesses skills including teamwork, communication, detail‑oriented, prioritization and change management.
  • Able to work in Jurong Island.
