Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and driven Assistant Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at KINGWOOD (SINGAPORE) ENTERPRISES PTE. LTD. This is a full-time position that will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our construction projects and shaping the future of the industry.

What you’ll be doing (Assistant Project Manager)

  • Overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to coordination and delivery
  • Responsible for overall quality, schedule, budget & risk management control and monitoring for projects
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing effective strategies to address them
  • Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to the project team and management

What we’re looking for

  • Diploma or Degree in interior design, building construction, or a related field is an advantage
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin – we seek Mandarin‑speaking candidates who are required to serve Mandarin‑speaking clients
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Assistant Project Manager role, preferably within the construction industry
  • Experience in furniture & fitting out work at luxury retail shop are highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools such as MS Office, Autocad & MS Project
  • Attention to detail and the ability to think critically to solve complex problems
  • Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
  • Willing to travel overseas

What you’ll be doing (Project Coordinator)

  • Coordinate and monitor project schedules, deadlines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of project‑related documentation, such as reports, proposals, and contracts
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between project team members, clients, and stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project records, and tracking project expenses
  • Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures
  • Responsible for overall quality, schedule, budget & risk management control and monitoring for projects

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry
  • Experience in furniture & fitting out work at luxury retail shop are highly desirable
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with the industry regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin. We seek Mandarin‑speaking candidates who are required to serve Mandarin‑speaking clients
  • Willing to travel overseas
