Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and driven Assistant Project Manager / Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team at KINGWOOD (SINGAPORE) ENTERPRISES PTE. LTD. This is a full-time position that will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our construction projects and shaping the future of the industry.
What you’ll be doing (Assistant Project Manager)
- Overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to coordination and delivery
- Responsible for overall quality, schedule, budget & risk management control and monitoring for projects
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing effective strategies to address them
- Monitoring project progress and providing regular updates to the project team and management
What we’re looking for
- Diploma or Degree in interior design, building construction, or a related field is an advantage
- Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin – we seek Mandarin‑speaking candidates who are required to serve Mandarin‑speaking clients
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Assistant Project Manager role, preferably within the construction industry
- Experience in furniture & fitting out work at luxury retail shop are highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
- Proficient in using project management software and tools such as MS Office, Autocad & MS Project
- Attention to detail and the ability to think critically to solve complex problems
- Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment
- Willing to travel overseas
What you’ll be doing (Project Coordinator)
- Coordinate and monitor project schedules, deadlines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of project‑related documentation, such as reports, proposals, and contracts
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between project team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining project records, and tracking project expenses
- Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures
- Responsible for overall quality, schedule, budget & risk management control and monitoring for projects
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role in the construction industry
- Experience in furniture & fitting out work at luxury retail shop are highly desirable
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in using project management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with the industry regulations, standards, and best practices
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing project requirements

- Willing to travel overseas
