Job summary

A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to assist the Project Manager in leading site construction efforts. The candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in structural steel works or the construction industry, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in project completion. This role involves ensuring safe work practices, monitoring project progress, and organizing resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant local work experience in structural steel works/construction industry.
• Good track record in completing projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to lead site construction team.
• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented.
• Conduct regular site safety meetings and ensure site safety.
• Implement construction methodology and feasibility studies.
• Monitor project operation and completion within schedule.
• Update daily project progress reports.
• Organise resources for projects.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To assist Project Manager to lead site construction team in ensuring smooth execution of work.
• To ensure safe work procedures are always implemented.
• Conduct regular site safety meeting and ensure safety of the construction site.
• Construction methodology implementation and feasibility study of construction sequences.
• Require monitoring closely on projects operation and completion within project schedule and in line with required regulatory.
• To update daily on the project progress report to the team and the Management.
• Organise resources (e.g. Manpower, Machinery & Equipment, work materials) for projects.
• Other related duties to be allocated in line with the progress of the project.

Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant local work experience in structural steel works/ construction industry.
• Good interpersonal communication skills and team player.
• Good track record in completing projects.
