Job Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate with subcontractors, architects, consultants, and relevant authorities, setting clear guidelines and providing technical supervision to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and verify construction drawings, design details, and variation orders to identify discrepancies, design issues, and defects before commencement of works or processing subcontractor payments.
- Oversee and coach team members through on-the-job training, performance tracking, and productivity monitoring to strengthen team capability and efficiency.
- Plan, forecast, and monitor subcontractors’ progress, prepare weekly work schedules, and conduct daily coordination meetings to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Manage logistics and site operations effectively to support daily construction activities and maintain workflow continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, quality, and productivity, while ensuring all activities comply with the company’s Environment, Quality & Safety (EQS) standards.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry (in tunnel projects)
- Proven ability to manage project deliverables and milestones — ensuring timely completion, cost efficiency, and adherence to design and quality requirements.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines and teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
- Demonstrated commitment to EQS principles, ensuring that all project activities uphold environmental sustainability, quality standards, and workplace safety.
