Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver electrical installation projects. The successful candidate will lead project teams, ensuring high-quality outcomes and manage relationships with clients and subcontractors. With at least 5 years of experience, strong leadership skills and technical knowledge are essential. This role requires onsite presence and a proactive attitude toward project execution.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for successful delivery of assigned projects.
  • Lead project team and facilitate their ability to complete the project on time.
  • Assist the Project Manager / Project Director on Project Management & Execution
  • Supervise workers and sub-contractors to ensure works are carried out as per schedule and in good quality.
  • Project Management to achieve smooth project implementation and completion.
  • Project Costing and re-engineering to increase project profit margin, forecast of monthly progress claim and expenditure budget.
  • Leading Testing and Commissioning of project team and conduct training to customers after completion of project.
  • Provide guidance to engineers in the selection of equipment for the project.
  • Involve in technical discussion, progress meeting with client, M& E consultant and main or sub-contractors.
  • In charge of the whole Project Safety System planning, assessment and implementation.
  • Participate in acquiring new opportunities – Tenders and Business Development
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Min. Diploma in Related Engineering (Electrical) with preferably Degree.
  • Min. 5 years relevant experience with at least 4 years project management experience at local construction site.
  • Strong project management experience in related electrical installation projects (especially on turnkey and A&A works) with strong technical knowledge and site experience.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of people and possess strong leadership quality and high initiative character.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project softwares including good knowledge in AutoCad & REVIT.
  • Motivated, responsible with positive attitude and able to work under pressure and stress.
  • Physically fit as the position requires the successful candidate to be onsite at times.
  • Good working knowledge of OHSAS 18001 & ISO14001.
