Overview
The role involves managing multi-disciplinary project teams and ensuring successful project delivery in accordance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in overall project planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Lead and coordinate the efforts of sub-teams, including Quality Control, ACMV Site Coordination, ACMV Design Engineering, Electrical & BMS, Project Quantity Surveying & Administration, and Environment, Health & Safety.
- Ensure project milestones, schedules, and budgets are achieved in line with contract requirements.
- Oversee design review, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of ACMV and BMS systems.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and authorities to resolve technical and site issues.
- Implement quality assurance and safety procedures throughout project phases.
- Prepare progress reports and provide timely updates to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of relevant project management experience in large-scale M&E/ACMV/BMS construction projects.
- Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of local codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- PMP or similar project management certification is an advantage.
- Willingness to work at Tuas area. Transportation is provided from nearest MRT station to site office.
