Job summary

jk recruitment services pte. ltd. is seeking an Asst. Project Manager to lead site operations, manage quality and schedules, and coordinate with clients to ensure timely and safe construction delivery.

The role requires a relevant degree or diploma, 2 years of high-rise project experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. You will supervise on-site teams, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with Singapore standards.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of construction experience on high-rise projects.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD.
  • Familiar with Singapore Construction Industry rules and standards.
  • Strong project management and supervision capabilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and supervise daily site activities, overseeing the operation team and coordinating with client staff to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Quality control of project operations including budget, schedule, and planning; report progress to the Director.
  • Execute project work and provide regular updates to the Project Manager on work progress and issues.
  • Manage work schedules and resolve disputes with workers to maintain productivity and harmony on site.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and quality standards within allocated timeframes.
  • Maintain accurate daily site records of manpower, materials, and work status for project tracking.
  • Attend site and internal meetings, addressing client feedback and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings to support project execution and coordination.

Job Summary

Join our team as an Asst. Project Manager to lead site operations, manage project quality and schedules, and coordinate with clients to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality construction project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise daily site activities, overseeing the operation team and coordinating with client staff to ensure smooth workflow
  • Perform comprehensive quality control of project operations including budget, schedule, and planning, and report progress to the Director
  • Execute project work and provide regular updates to the Project Manager on work progress and issues
  • Manage work schedules and resolve disputes with workers to maintain productivity and harmony on site
  • Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and quality standards within allocated timeframes
  • Maintain accurate daily site records of manpower, materials, and work status for project tracking
  • Attend site and internal meetings, addressing client feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings to support project execution and coordination
  • Handle certifications such as MOM, AE, PE, COS when required (advantageous)
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Engineering background
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in construction of high-rise buildingsKnowledge of suspended scaffolding systems is highly advantageous
  • Proficient in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD
  • Familiar with Singapore Construction Industry rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects under tight timelines and pressure
  • Strong project management and supervision capabilities
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
Other Information
  • 14 days annual leave for first 2 years of continuous service, increasing by 1 day per completed year up to a maximum of 21 days
