Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will assist in developing project timelines, organize resources, and maintain accurate documentation. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Industrial Management and have 2–4 years of experience in project coordination. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is essential. This role requires effective communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Job responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
  • Assist in developing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Monitor progress and update schedules to reflect changes
Resource Coordination
  • Organize and allocate resources (materials, equipment, personnel) in collaboration with project managers and department leads
  • Track inventory and procurement needs for ongoing projects
Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and compliance records
  • Prepare weekly and monthly status reports for management and stakeholders
Communication & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external vendors.Facilitate meetings, distribute agendas, and ensure follow-up on action items
Risk & Compliance
  • Identify potential risks and escalation issues promptly.Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Job requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Detail-oriented and proactive.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
