Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall execution and progress of assigned M&E contracts.
• Monitor installation progress and coordinate closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
• Report and track project progress, providing regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Supervise site works and ensure all installations comply with contract drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, installation checklists, T&C check sheets, work progress reports, and other relevant M&E documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants for the preparation and submission of shop drawings.
• Handle technical submissions with suppliers and subcontractors and ensure timely approvals.
• Assist the Project Manager in negotiating and procuring materials, equipment, and manpower within approved budget.
• Conduct technical discussions with stakeholders to resolve site and engineering issues.
• Liaise with authorities, subcontractors and clients regarding inspections, equipment submissions, testing, and commissioning work.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
• Experience supporting Project Managers in managing and monitoring project progress.
