Position: Assistant Electrical Engineer (ES)

• Salary: $2,800 to $3,300 + AWS + VB
• Working Days: 5 days (based on project); OT Paid
• Working Location: Joo Koon (Transport is provided from 6 MRT pickup points, i.e., Paya Lebar, Serangoon NEX, Bishan, Jurong East, Joon Koon, Woodlands)

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• To attend to site survey/meetings/discussions with clients/contractors/sub-contractors on related matters together with the LEW (when required). Providing feasible solutions and coordinating with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensuring the objectives are achieved.
• Ability to prepare reports and method statements whenever necessary. Perform all electrical works in adherence to EMA regulations and guidelines with LEW supervision.
• Assisting the PE/LEW to carry out regular site inspections on LT and HT installations to ensure that all maintenance programs are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
• Standby and partnering with LEW in attending to emergency call-up services at customer installations. Investigate and determine the root cause of faults and report (where applicable).
• Able to interpret basic schematics and SLD diagrams. Required to take on a Specialist Equipment role, may be sent to receive specialized training, and subsequently providing training to internal staff.
• Plan and execution of corrective or preventive maintenance programs. Participate in and support Annual Shutdown exercises as and when required. Ensure proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment, and tools.
• Assist the LEW in testing and commissioning of electrical systems. Provide excellent service to meet client expectations. Ensure all works are carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures.
