About Active Ageing Centres (AAC)

Our AAC serve as a key point of contact for seniors under our care, where we proactively reach out to them, organize social activities, and provide opportunities for interaction with the community. Our aim is to enable seniors to adopt an active lifestyle, pre-empt social isolation, and refer them to assistance in a timely fashion. We hope to improve the health outcomes of seniors living in the community through providing a suite of programs to help them live healthier lives and support their aspirations to age in place.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in coordinating support services and organising activities for the seniors
  • Assist in planning & coordinating programmes and activities for the seniors
  • Assist in managing, supervising and supporting volunteers
  • Conduct Community Screener and ensure buddying & befriending criteria are met
  • Assist in conducting outreach
  • Assist Programme Executive to prepare monthly report
  • General admin duties
Requirements
  • Min. GCE ‘A’ Level, Diploma with Social Service
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Preferably with interest and passion for the elderly
  • This position is on contract basis

Work Location: Buangkok Green/ Bukit Batok East/ Choa Chu Kang

(Bukit Batok East - Full-Time; Choa Chu Kang - Sunshine Court - Full-Time and Part-Time; Limbang Green and Brickland - Part-Time)
