Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine seeks a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Geroscience to advance ageing research and medical education. You will lead high-impact research, secure funding, and mentor students and staff in an environment that fosters translational science.

Qualifications

MBBS/MD and/or PhD degree(s).
Postdoctoral or clinical experience.
Translational clinical research and teaching with impact in ageing research or related fields.

Responsibilities

Undertake high quality research activities with a personal research plan, develop proposals and funding bids, publish in international peer reviewed journals.
Seek competitive grant and industry funding to develop a sustainable research programme.
Contribute to and develop teaching and education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including team-based learning and e-learning.
Develop and support interdisciplinary research projects with other faculty and clinical partners, spanning cognitive dysfunction, neurodegeneration, metabolic disorders, cancer, and innovative therapies.
Supervise and mentor junior faculty and research staff; participate in academic committees and administrative duties.
