Assistant Production Manager / Supervisor (Food Manufacturing)

Supervise and manage production staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.

Coordinate daily production activities and allocate resources effectively.

Understand production schedules and prioritize production sequence - Packaging materials and Raw materials.

Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Prefer with experience of CGMP, HACCP or ISO Standards.

Implement and maintain quality control procedures and processes.

Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Assist in the development and execution of production plans to meet customer demands.

Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to optimize efficiency.

Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and procedures.

Conduct regular quality audits and safety inspections and address any hazards or violations.

Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.

Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on production performance.

Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to management.

Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

Requirements

Candidate with 4-5 years of hands‑on experience and minimum of 2 years leading teams.

Basic computer knowledge and MS Office knowledge.

Proficient in Mandarin and English as needed to liaise daily with Mandarin and English‑speaking associates.

Experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Able to work interdependently with a high level of initiative and resourcefulness.

IT skills and experience in SAP / EWM or related ERP system will be an advantage.
