Job summary

Assistant/ Procurement Manager (Electronic components and parts)

Manage and guide a team responsible for sourcing and procurement activities across multiple regions.

Coach, train, and develop team members to enhance performance and knowledge.

Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high standards and timely delivery.

Oversee the full procurement process, including order placement, tracking, and documentation compliance.

Delegate tasks effectively and balance team workload to optimize coverage.

Support team in addressing escalations from internal stakeholders or clients.

Conduct ongoing market research to track trends, pricing, and supplier performance.

Implement process improvements based on team feedback and operational insights.

Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain or operational challenges.

Lead or contribute to special projects related to sourcing, procurement, or supply chain strategy.

Requirements
  • 7–10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles (with 4+ years of experience managing a team)
  • Strong sourcing experience in electronic components and electronic parts
  • Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours for global coordination.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in negotiation and problem-solving.
  • Experience preparing reports or market insights to support business decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Proficient with standard office tools and basic analytics platforms.
