Job summary

ANRADUS PTE. LTD. seeks an Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our Bedok-based team.

You will support the Lead Teacher in delivering daily lessons, activities, and routines aligned with the curriculum, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment for children aged early years. The role emphasizes play- and inquiry-based learning, classroom organization, and collaboration with parents and colleagues. ACEY or higher in Early Childhood Education is required, with a preference for First Aid

Qualifications

• ACEY or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education is required.
• Preschool or childcare experience is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patient, supportive, and professional when working with children.
• Willing to obtain First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and conducting daily lessons and activities.
• Support learning through play-based and inquiry-based activities.
• Ensure children's safety, well-being, and hygiene.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare teaching materials and classroom setups.
• Observe and document children's progress and share updates with the Lead Teacher and parents.
• Support school events, field trips, and ECDA compliance.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality early childhood education.

• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and conducting daily lessons, activities, and routines based on the school curriculum.
• Support children’s learning through play-based and inquiry-based activities.
• Ensure children’s safety and well-being during playtime, meals, rest periods, and other activities.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional development.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom setups.
• Observe and document children’s progress and behaviour and share updates with the Lead Teacher and parents when required.
• Maintain professional relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Keep the classroom clean, safe, and suitable for learning.
• Support school events, field trips, and community activities.
• Follow preschool policies and ECDA requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum ACEY (Advanced Certificate in Early Years) or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education.
• Preschool or childcare experience is an advantage.
• Interest in supporting children’s learning and development.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patient, supportive, and professional in working with children.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• First Aid certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain the certification.
