Schroder Investment Management (Singapore) Ltd. invites applications for a role within the Emerging Market Debt and Commodities team.

You will contribute to Asian macro portfolios by applying the investment process, sovereign and corporate research, market timing and risk controls. You will help shape investment decisions, participate in developing a global Emerging Market Fixed Income franchise, and engage with clients and consultants to explain portfolio positioning and our investment

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance or related fields; CFA or advanced degrees.
Experience in finance with Asian macro research or portfolio management preferred.
Solid understanding of fixed income instruments and portfolio construction.
Interest in ESG investing and quantitative finance a plus.
Analytical, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the investment performance objectives of assigned Asian macro portfolios; apply the investment process with focus on sovereign and corporate issuers, market timing and risk controls.
Support investment decision making through idea generation and collaboration across the team; enhance processes.
Help develop a global Emerging Market Fixed Income franchise through process improvements and cross-desk communication.
Assist in writing and distributing reporting and marketing materials; explain investment philosophy and portfolio positioning to clients and prospects.
