As we are transitioning into a hospitality group, we are seeking a results-driven Assistant Operations Manager to provide essential support in the management and organization of our restaurant operations. This professional role involves ensuring daily activities run efficiently, service standards are consistently high, and our teams are effectively managed to deliver customer satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist the Operations Manager in the following key areas:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of all restaurant outlets, ensuring the efficient execution of service and adherence to high operational standards.
  • Standard Implementation: Develop, implement, and rigorously enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee consistency in product quality, customer service delivery, and brand presentation across the portfolio.
  • Team Performance & Development: Supervise, train, and motivate outlet managers, supervisors and staff. Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and succession planning to ensure teams meet performance and service excellence objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse outlet performance data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including sales figures, cost controls, and customer feedback metrics.
  • Service Integrity: Uphold exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints. Ensure brand aesthetics, store ambience, and service etiquette meet defined standards. Respond effectively to feedback, complaints, and mitigate operational challenges.
  • Operational Support: Provide on-site support during peak service periods and times of staff shortages. Assist in the operational logistics for new store openings and market expansion projects.
  • Financial Management: Contribute to financial planning activities, including support for budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis, to drive operational efficiency and profitability.
Required Profile

We are looking for a candidate with proven experience in hospitality operations management who possesses a professional approach to team leadership and operational execution. The ability to maintain consistency, manage budgets, and enforce standards is critical to this role. The package will commensurate with experience.
