Job description

• Position: Assistant Merchandiser (TEXTILE/GARMENT)

• Location: Near Tai Seng MRT

• Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (9.00am to 6.00pm)

• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $3500+ AWS + Variable Bonus + 12 days annual leave + Medical

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Textile/Fabric distributor

Main Responsibilities

• Process buyers’ orders

• To co-ordinate samples and work closely with production on order lead-times, handles day-to-day problems and ensure timely delivery

• Liaise with suppliers and clients

• Prepare quotations, tenders, purchase orders, delivery orders, data entry, etc. Plan delivery schedule

Requirements

• Min 1 year relevant experience

• Experience in garment industry / Diploma in Fashion Merchandising or related discipline

• Good communication skills

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
