Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced engineer to perform setup, assembly, and maintenance of wire bonder equipment. The role involves providing technical support to customers, conducting training for technicians, and participating in continuous improvement projects. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of experience in semiconductor or manufacturing environments.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Semiconductor or Manufacturing.
- Trained on equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Knowledge on equipment assembly and testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform line setup and maintenance of wire bonder equipment.
- Provide technical support and review drawing specifications.
- Conduct training and certification for technicians.
- Design and fabricate tools and participate in continuous improvement.
- Participate in MRB meetings for non-conformance parts.

Requirements

- Failure analysis and technical report.
- Good leadership, communication and able to work with customer on technical issues and support evaluations.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform line setup, assembly, test, qualify and maintenance of wire bonder equipment
- Provide technical support to customer related to assembly and review drawing specification and Bill of materials.
- Conduct training and certification on technicians and work with relevant departments to achieve quality output and deliveries.
- Design/fabricate tools, jigs and fixtures and participate on continuous improvement and projects.
- Participate on MRB meetings to review non-conformance parts disposition and monitor in-process yield/reject and scrap.
- To comply on any other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.
