Role Overview

As part of Terminal 5 (T5) development, you will manage the design, implementation, and commissioning of the Automated People Mover (APM) system. T5 is set to be one of the world’s largest and most technologically advanced airport terminals. Your expertise will contribute to its success.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Manage the design and implementation of the APM system for Terminal 5, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and specifications.
• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Innovation & Technology: Incorporate the latest innovations in automation and transportation technologies to create a world‑class APM system, enhancing passenger experience and operational efficiency at T5.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the APM system meets all relevant international and local regulations, standards, and safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, proactively identify risks or delays, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to keep the project on schedule.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation and provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify and address potential risks or challenges that may arise during project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Up to 5 years of relevant experience in APM systems or rail transportation systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Highly motivated, independent, and a strong team player.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools is an advantage.
