Job summary

A well-established company in Singapore is looking for an experienced accounting professional to manage the full set of accounts. Responsibilities include supervising daily accounting activities, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in accounting or finance and at least 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field. The position offers a salary range of $4000 - $5500 plus bonuses.

  • Working hours : Monday to Friday (9am to 6pm)
Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support the Account Executive in daily accounting activities, including journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Handle the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Oversee bank reconciliations, AP/AR management, and month-end closing activities.
  • Preparing financial statements, schedules, and supporting reports for management and audits.
  • Review quarterly GST for submission.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audit cycles, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Coordinate with external tax agent and review tax computation.
  • Provide advices on operation matters especially related to finance functions.
  • Coordinate with the company’s corporate secretary to ensure statutory compliance, including maintaining statutory registers, filing Annual Returns, and organizing AGM/EGM documentation.
  • Monitor and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Review and improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implementation of new QuickBooks.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
  • Possess minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with minimum 3-5 years’ experience managing full set of accounts, preferably in an equipment installation, or project-based environment.
