Job description
Your Role
  • Lead a team of Quantity Surveyors in post-contract and procurement administration of fast-track projects.
  • Involve in project budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payments and settlement of final accounts
  • Manage and evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotations, negotiate terms, and award contracts in line with project budgets.
  • Administer and monitor contractual matters, including progress claims, variations, extension of time (EOT), and loss and expense claims.
  • Prepare monthly cost and progress reports to support project financial tracking and forecasting.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve commercial issues and ensure contract compliance.
  • Assist in contract reviews, procurement strategies, and risk management processes.
  • Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments, VO submissions, and final accounts.
  • Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with main contract terms, SIA, PSSCOC, and local regulatory standards.
  • Participate in site meetings, audits, and final project handovers related to commercial deliverables.
  • Maintenance of proper documentation.
The Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building or its equivalent with minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience at a managerial level in a construction firm
  • Familiar with standard forms of contract used in Singapore (e.g. SIA, PSSCOC,REDAS).
  • Good understanding of local construction costs, materials, and procurement practices.
  • Strong knowledge in contract law, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software (e.g., CostX, Glodon, or similar).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
