Job summary

A well-established company in Woodlands is seeking a QC Manager to lead and manage quality control operations. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage QC operations including manpower planning and inventory control.
  • Coordinate quality-related activities with Production, Warehouse, Shipping, R&D, and Sales teams.
  • Maintain and update QC documentation including laboratory manuals, risk assessments, and QEMS/FSSC systems.
  • Ensure proper calibration, testing, and maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Monitor product quality trends and support troubleshooting of quality issues.
  • Plan and conduct training programs to develop QC staff competency.
  • Manage external laboratory testing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Uphold Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), 5S, and safety standards in all QC areas.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and company safety policies.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Identify, assess, and reduce safety and health risks in QC operations.
  • Participate in safety programs, training, and incident investigations.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Education
