GrabRentals (GR) is a core pillar of Grab's Mobility business, with the primary goal of securing vehicular and productive driver‑partner supply for Grab's ride‑hailing marketplace.

In the Strategic Projects team, we are focused on ensuring the optimization of our existing business and the growth of new businesses including Autonomous Vehicles

Get to know the Role

You will play an important role within the business team leading the execution of autonomous vehicle pilots. We are seeking a unique blend of a technical product manager, a process optimization expert, and an AV specialist to join our team. You will be the bridge between our on‑the‑ground deployment operations and our core product and engineering teams. You will own the roadmap for our operational systems, dive deep into technical challenges, and re‑engineer our processes for maximum safety and efficiency.

You will report to the Head, GrabCab and Strategic Projects, onsite in our Grab One North Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements, scope, and deliver the software and hardware that powers our fleet operations
• Facilitate the launch and adoption of new products and features. Ensure readiness across ops teams and orchestrate deployments with engineering
• Lead post‑launch support, analyze operational feedback, and ensure continuous improvement through data‑driven recommendations
• Define and launch new standards, processes and capabilities to drive improvement to topline validation metrics of safety, mileage and cost.
• Document implementation plans to operationalize new validation initiatives, collaborate with cross‑functional teams for alignment and execute through vendors.
• Structure launch milestones and dependencies, assign roles and responsibilities, and establish communication channels
• Lead process optimization initiatives across our deployment operations, from vehicle commissioning to on‑road incident response
• Utilize data analysis and strategic insights to identify efficiency gaps, model potential solutions, and drive continuous improvement
• Implement and champion frameworks like Lean Six Sigma or Kaizen to streamline workflows between our internal organization, the broader company, and external partners
• Be a subject matter expert on the autonomous vehicle system's operational capabilities

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• 3+ years of experience in a technology‑focused role such as Product Management, Product Operations, Business Strategy, Product Commercialization, Technical Program Management or Technical Operations
• Direct, hands‑on experience with autonomous vehicles, robotics, or other complex hardware/software systems
• Degree in related technical subject (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science), or equivalent practical experience in a technical field / role
• Experience working with technical teams to translate requirements for new initiatives into compelling roadmaps.
