Job description

As the Assistant Manager, Payroll, you will support the Head of Payroll in managing the payroll operations for our large and complex Singapore-based workforce. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining compliance with Singaporean laws and regulations, and driving continuous improvements in payroll processes and systems through our HRIS platform, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP). This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading a payroll team and ensure timely and accurate payment of salary to all staff.
  • Responsible for full spectrum of payroll processing including CPF submissions, tax filing, government-related claims processing, submit to relevant statutory board and preparation of payroll reports.
  • Ensure accuracy, promptness and conformance to statutory and company requirements in all payroll related transactions.
  • Ensure that payroll processing policies and procedures are strictly being complied at all times.
  • Liaise with government authorities (CPF Board and IRAS) on payroll issues.
  • Attend to queries or payroll variances raised by staff or Business Units.
  • Provide HR reports and data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to perform UAT for digitalisation projects.
  • Any ad‑hoc assignments and projects.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Min. 5 years of experience with payroll processes and experience with SAP HCM / SuccessFactors environment.
  • A current Payroll practitioner with strong acknowledge of Singapore Employment Act, MOM, CPF, IRAS and other relevant statutory legislations and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to motivate and coach team member.
  • Highly motivated and task oriented.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
