What The Role Is
As an Assistant Manager/Manager (Youth Leadership and Engagement), you will be part of an agile team that empowers youth to have a voice in the national-level issues. You will also support the team to identify and develop youth leaders together with other Government agencies and industry partners, while cultivating trust and strong relationships with the young people that you engage.
What You Will Be Working On
You will gain experience and hone your skills through the following responsibilities:
- Design and execute online and face-to-face engagement experiences for youths from diverse backgrounds to have their voices heard and take action on issues that are important to them.
- Design and execute leadership programmes for youths to deepen their understanding and appreciation of national perspectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with youths, identify their needs and use a Customer Relationship Management System to track, coordinate and report efforts in youth engagement and development.
- Oversee administrative and procurement-related matters relating to youth programmes and events.

- Are able to work independently and possess proficient writing, strong verbal communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Possess the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute projects from inception to completion by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Preferably have knowledge and interest in youth development and are keen in engaging youths.
- Preferably have knowledge of youth-related issues and policies.
- Are excellent team players, with a strong propensity to collaborate and network with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Are curious, self-motivated, resourceful, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Preferably have experience in relationship management and commercial Customer Relationship Management platforms.
