Job summary

A corporate entity in Singapore seeks a skilled individual to manage enterprise risk and compliance functions. Responsibilities include policy development, compliance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement with a focus on effective communication in English and Chinese. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Finance, Business, or related fields along with at least 5 years of experience. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with external parties are essential. This role also supports sustainability strategies and board meeting coordination.

Qualifications

  • Degree from an established university in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
  • Effective communication with stakeholders in China.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the creation and implementation of policies and procedures for enterprise risk management.
  • Monitor and report on compliance and regulatory matters to the CEO/CFO.
  • Act as the main liaison with external parties for risk management.

Job description
Main Responsibilities
  • Co-ordinates the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures as well as an enterprise risk management and internal controls systems required by the Company
  • Assist in developing, maintaining and updating a robust and appropriate enterprise risk management and internal controls systems that will adequately detect and monitor the key risks facing the Company and its operations
  • Develop a suite of relevant, adequate and appropriate policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report on compliance and regulatory matters to the CEO /CFO and the Board of Directors of the Company on a regular basis
  • Acts as the main liaison with external parties in relation to risk management and compliance related matters
  • Arranges for regular risk management and compliance trainings for employees and Board of Directors of the Company.
  • Handles and co-ordinates all internal corporate affairs matter such as Board Meetings
  • Support the development and execution of the sustainability strategies, including goal setting, stakeholder engagement, ESG performance tracking, and reporting in alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Reviews and ensures that board resolutions are properly drafted and executed in a timely manner
  • Works with other departments in relation to companywide affairs such as AGM, EGM, etc
Requirements
  • A degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate or equivalent from an established university
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience will be preferred
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese to facilitate effective communication with stakeholders in China.
  • Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
