Job Summary

The role is responsible for managing Quality Control (QC) laboratory operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (FDA, USP, EP, ICH, ChP) and internal quality procedures. Key duties include overseeing testing activities, releasing raw and packaging materials, drafting and reviewing technical documents (SPEC/STP/AWS/SOPs), managing laboratory investigations, and supporting new product introductions.

The position also oversees instrument qualification, calibration, and maintenance, ensuring full lifecycle management of QC equipment. It maintains data integrity, manages documentation and training compliance, and ensures audit readiness.

As a team leader, the role involves supervising QC personnel, developing competencies, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting recruitment and training programs. Additionally, it ensures EHS compliance to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment.

Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in a science-related discipline (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 4 years of Quality Control experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
