Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Academic Analytics team as Manager, Quality Assurance and Educational Analytics, working closely with the Assistant Dean for Educational Evaluation to advance data-driven quality assurance and continuous improvement. The Academic Analytics team plays a key role in leveraging data to inform evidence-based decision-making, enhance educational quality, and support institutional reporting and accreditation. Through this work, the team helps revolutionize teaching and learning, and strengthen strategic and operational processes within the education mission at Duke-NUS. The Manager will contribute by developing interactive data dashboards and performing data analyses that translate educational data into actionable insights for leadership and faculty. In addition, this role provides cross-functional support for initiatives across the Education Advancement Department.

Job Responsibilities
  • Academic Analytics and Data Visualization
    • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to visualize educational key performance indicators (KPIs) and support evidence-informed decision-making.
    • Develop automated reporting workflows and analytical models to enable longitudinal and cross-programme analyses.
    • Conduct data analyses to inform teaching, learning, and curriculum improvement.
    • Translate complex findings into clear, user-friendly visualizations and summaries for leadership, faculty, and committees.
    • Collaborate with IT and institutional data partners to ensure data governance, integrity, and interoperability across systems.
  • Quality Assurance and Evaluation
    • Coordinate programme reviews, stakeholder feedback cycles, and follow-up action tracking for quality improvement.
    • Assist in institutional reporting and accreditation documentation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration and Strategic Support
    • Collaborate with colleagues across the Education Advancement Department to integrate analytics into faculty development and educational research.
    • Contribute to cross-functional projects that leverage academic analytics to enhance teaching, learning, and operational processes within the education mission of Duke-NUS.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Educational Measurement, or a related quantitative or social-science field.
  • Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining dashboards (e.g., Power BI) for data visualization and reporting.
  • Preferred experience in applying data analytics.
  • Proficiency in data management and analysis tools such as Excel, R, Python, or SPSS; familiarity with SQL or DAX is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
