DESIGNATION: Assistant Manager/Manager, Public Art (Programmes & Outreach) (Contract)
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development and execution of public art programmes for a broad range of audiences in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders and partners. This includes but is not limited to managing annual programmes schedules, budgets, as well as associated procurement, administrative processes and logistical operations, in accordance to organisation policies.
  • Work closely with Director, Public Art to develop and implement strategies for outreach and engagement, including fostering inter-departmental synergies and coordination, and cultivating external opportunities for collaboration.
  • Identify and develop strategic programme partners, working closely with partnership managers and relevant SAM departments.
  • Generate content including programme materials, reports, marketing, online content etc.
  • Manage, supervise and administer projects, processes and procedures under his/her responsibility.
  • Handle ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the museum, arts and culture sector or equivalent
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies, Art Management, or a related field
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Creative, motivated, dynamic, and outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attentive to details and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
