About the Job

Leads the day-to-day building operations and maintenance, manage the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) vendor and drive smart technology initiatives in the University campuses.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

Campus Operations and Maintenance

  • Drive and manage Building, Mechanical & Electrical services (water pumps, ACMV, electrical, fire protection, building management systems, lifts and escalators) to ensure uninterrupted supply and prevent system failures.
  • Review maintenance plans, breakdown reports, M&E systems performance trends and propose improvement initiatives to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Work with the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) service provider and specialist contractors to carry out predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance in order to achieve the desired service quality.

Smart Technologies and Enhancement Initiatives

  • Collaborate with vendors to drive innovation in building automation. Research, propose and implement smart technologies solutions for operational testbed and infrastructural improvements.
  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance and optimisation of smart campus technologies to improve operational efficiency, systems reliability and manpower productivity.

AV Systems Maintenance and Enhancements

  • Ensure the efficient upkeep and maintenance of campus teaching and learning spaces (classrooms, laboratories, study areas) to support academic excellence.
  • Develop and drive enhancements initiatives to the AV systems such as smart classrooms technologies.
Job Requirements
  • Degree Holder in Engineering, Estates or Facilities Management or a related field, with at least 8 years of relevant working experiences.
  • Resourceful team player and leader with a lot of initiatives.
  • Meticulous and passionate to drive innovative changes.
  • Highly independent and possess good time management.
  • Pleasant disposition with a high level of integrity and work ethics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
  • Familiar with most Microsoft Office applications, AutoCAD, BIM.
  • Familiar with Building Automation System and IoT solutions, SMART Facilities Management
