Job summary

A leading global advisory firm based in Singapore is seeking a valuation expert to manage engagements and lead teams. The candidate should possess 4 to 8 years of valuation experience in accounting or banking, strong analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Responsibilities include conducting valuations, preparing reports, and working closely with senior management. Job description

Leading global advisory firm
Candidates must have valuation experience, preferably within an accounting / professional services firm or a banking environment

Responsibilities would include:
  • Lead and execute valuation engagements, managing teams to ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Conduct valuations of businesses, securities, and intangible assets using various methodologies including discounted cash flow, capitalised maintainable earnings, and option pricing models.
  • Analyse market data, and industry trends to determine valuation inputs.
  • Construct, review and amend financial models.
  • Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for clients.
  • Review and interpret financial statements to determine business operations, drivers and performance indicators.
  • Assisting in other advisory work such as transaction support, mergers & acquisitions, business planning and reorganisation
  • Working closely with directors on client management, practice development, and business development activities
Profile of ideal candidate:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, professional qualifications such as CPA, FRM, CFA, or CVA are advantageous
  • 4 to 8 years of valuation or financial due diligence experience, preferably within an accounting or professional services firm, or a bank
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, combined with excellent analytical and evaluation abilities and strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated, capable of working independently, while also building effective relationships with senior management and thriving in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and passion for adding value
