Job description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project & Team Management: Manage end-to-end ESG consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and alignment with client objectives.
  • Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders: Build trust and foster collaboration.
  • Conduct and manage market research, data analysis, and benchmarking exercises: Develop impactful sustainability solutions.
  • Business Development & Thought Leadership: Develop proposals for client engagements and participate in pitch meetings.
  • Engage in thought leadership: Contribute to whitepapers, research, industry events, and client workshops.
  • Conduct capacity-building workshops, briefings, and seminars: Facilitate knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
  • Technical Expertise & Innovation: Advise clients on sustainability and ESG-related strategies, policies, and frameworks, including ESG risk management, climate change strategies, and sustainability reporting.
  • Analyse strategic, operational, risk, and financial implications of sustainability trends: Translate these into commercial impacts for clients.
  • Leverage expertise in ESG strategy, Life Cycle Assessment, climate risk modelling, sustainable finance, and/or sustainability reporting: Provide tailored solutions for clients.
  • Utilise digital tools, analytics, and technology: Enhance ESG data management and reporting.
Key Requirements:
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in sustainability and ESG consulting or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in advising clients on ESG strategies, sustainability reporting (e.g., GRI, IFRS S1 & S2, SASB), and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and successfully deliver complex consulting projects.
  • Strong work ethic, project management skills, and independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong academic qualifications in finance, engineering, environmental science or a related discipline.
  • Additional certifications such as CFA ESG Investing, GRI Certified Sustainability Professional, are a plus.
