A leading financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a Financial Manager to provide operational analysis and strategic financial insights. The ideal candidate will lead forecasting and budgeting processes, manage financial reporting, and optimize resource usage. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, along with at least 5 years of experience, is required. Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, and financial modeling is essential for success in this role.
Collaborate with relevant departments to deliver operational analysis and financial insights that guide business strategy.
Lead forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning while managing month-end closing, financial reporting, and performance analysis to support informed leadership decisions and align with organizational goals.
Monitor costs, manage budgets, and oversee cash flow, receivables, and payables to optimize resource use, enhance profitability, and ensure smooth business operations.
Manage tax submissions, withholding tax reporting, and statutory audits with accuracy.
Partner with auditors to ensure compliance with local tax and regulatory requirements.
Manage treasury operations, including cash flow, liquidity forecasting, and risk management in coordination with shared services.
Identify risks across tax, treasury, and financial controls, and develop mitigation plans. Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics Finance while leveraging automation and analytics tools, including Power BI, to ensure a smooth transition and enhance reporting insights.
Identify process improvements and implement solutions that save time, reduce waste, and improve accuracy, while leading or supporting ad-hoc financial projects as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA) preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience in financial management, cost control, or related roles, ideally in FMCG; exceptional candidates with less experience considered.
Proficient in accounting systems, preferably SAP and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management, with ERP
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Power Suite (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query) proficiency.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights.
Experienced in process improvement, automation, and driving efficiency gains.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
Solid understanding of risk management, financial regulations, and compliance.
