About Client: Our client is one of Asia’s leading general insurers located at CBD area, offering a wide range of protection solutions for individuals and businesses. It is well known for its reliability and broad commercial insurance portfolio, the organisation has a strong regional presence and a long-standing reputation in serving corporate clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement & Business Development
• Identify new opportunities and grow the corporate portfolio by building strong relationships with both new and existing clients. This includes offering guidance on suitable insurance solutions based on their business needs.
• Assess, approve, and manage risks within the delegated underwriting authority, including handling claim-related matters, reviewing policy wordings, and coordinating with regional teams, international offices, and reinsurers when required.

Additional Responsibilities

• Contribute to company-wide initiatives by joining cross-functional committees or projects aimed at improving business performance and operational efficiency.
• Ensure effective credit control by overseeing payment follow-ups and supporting debt recovery processes where necessary.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance departmental workflows and service quality.
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support overall business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. Professional certifications in general insurance are required (at least CGI & HI).
• Japanese Language is a plus.
• Experience in general insurance sales, underwriting, and servicing corporate clients.
• Background in marketing or B2B sales is advantageous, especially for candidates coming from financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of general insurance products and risk assessment.
• Demonstrated leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to make sound decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a results-driven mindset.
• Strong abilities in managing a portfolio and driving business growth.
