Overview and Purpose of the Position
The Job Holder is responsible for conducting data analytics and evaluation projects, supporting data‑driven decision making, and contributing to the development of analytics and evaluation capabilities within the organization. They will work closely with stakeholders to deliver insights while maintaining high standards of data quality and governance.
Accountabilities
- Data Analysis and Reporting
Execute data analysis projects, develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards, and conduct statistical analyses to support organizational decision‑making. Ensure accuracy and quality of analytical outputs.
- Technical Implementation
Apply appropriate analytics and evaluation methodologies, maintain data pipelines, and implement automated reporting solutions. Support the maintenance and optimization of analytics databases and tools.
- Stakeholder Support
Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs, provide analytics and evaluation support for projects, and communicate findings effectively. Contribute to the documentation of analytical processes and methodologies.
- Project Coordination
Coordinate assigned analytics and evaluation projects, collaborate with team members and stakeholders, and ensure adherence to data governance standards. Support the development of analytical frameworks and best practices.
- Other Duties
Any other duties assigned by Head of Planning and Development and/or DyCE.
Qualification Required and Area of Discipline
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, or related field.
- 2‑4 years of experience in analytics.
- Experience and/or knowledge of Singapore healthcare is an added advantage.
Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (R, Python, SQL, Tableau).
- Understanding of Singapore healthcare analytics and metrics.
- Good project coordination skills.
- Effective communication skills with ability to present analytical findings clearly.
- Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
- Knowledge of data protection and governance principles.
- Experience in implementing automated reporting solutions.
- Basic understanding of Singapore healthcare system.
- Ability to work independently on assigned projects.
