Overview

The Assistant Manager, Human Resource (Business Partnering) will work in close collaboration and partnership with management, line departments or business units, union and employees in achieving the short‑term and long‑term goals and objectives of the organisation and HR.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work with business units and employees in providing value‑adding advice, support and service to attract, retain, train, develop, reward, care and engage our talents.
  • Administer and execute HR functions and processes under his / her charge, e.g. recruitment, orientation, benefits, compensation, awards, communication, industrial relations, staff wellness, scholarships / sponsorships, etc.
  • Serve as an effective and neutral channel for employee feedback through regular walkabouts and dialogue sessions with employees so as to build an open and trusting culture.
  • Manage internship and sponsorship programmes to ensure there is a strong pipeline of talents.
  • Participate and support in organisation‑wide projects and events, as and when assigned or appointed.
  • Support, promote and participate in events and innovation initiatives, including wellness, work‑life balance, charity activities, staff suggestion and process / work improvement review projects.
  • Undertake any other projects as assigned by the Head of Unit.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or Business Management.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experiences.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment.
  • Meticulous and able to work independently.
