Job description

This role involves formulating and executing enterprise-wide talent acquisition strategies, HR governance and compliance, to support business growth at corporate level (Eu Yan Sang International Pte Ltd) as well as Eu Yan Sang Singapore, and Eu Yan Sang Marketing.

KEYACCOUNTABILITIES
TalentAcquisition
  • Perform regular workforce planning based on the organizational strategy at Group level
  • Effectively manage the talent acquisition process from recruitment to selection and onboarding at Group level as well as assigned business units.
  • Maintain a library for job description to facilitate talent acquisition and internal mobility.
  • Support and review talent acquisition of non-managerial roles including retail store positions.
  • Continuous assessment of recruitment channels to ensure effectiveness and make necessary improvement when required.
  • Ensure effective use of social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source for suitable candidates and track effectiveness through these platforms.
  • Engage stakeholders by understanding manpower requirements and provide effective recruitment solutions to meet their needs.
  • Manage the manpower forecast to ensure that recruitment cost is within budget.
  • Manage Talent Acquisition exercise including branding initiatives, internship/ scholarship programmes and manpower planning etc.
  • Manage employment related events, such as career fairs as and when necessary.
HRGovernance
  • Review and recommend best in class practices to support business objectives and practices for different markets.
Others
  • Staff Announcements: for new joiners and month-end staff announcements for new joiners and leavers
  • Organisation charts: monthly updating of charts for Group office and business units.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties or projects which may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Business or Business Administration

  • Minimum 5 years of HR generalist and talent acquisition experiences.
  • Strong understanding of change management and business transformation and talent acquisition process.
  • Work experience preferably in MNC companies from Retail or FMCG sectors
  • Good knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Ability to demonstrate high level of tact in handling confidential information.
  • Strong communication and good interpersonal skills to professionally handle frequent interactions with senior management.
  • Pro-active, meticulous and highly organised
  • Multitasker, efficient with quick turnaround in resolving issues
  • Independent, tenacity to work in fast-paced dynamic environment
